DAVE EDMUNDS Information (Rare quantity of Six 1983 UK 11-track white label vinyl LP test pressings. This is an interesting and unusual item, each of the disc's have different hand written messages in the run-out groove and with 'WEA T/P' hand written matrix details. At the time, Dave was signed to the Arista record company and this album was released in German & Europe but didn't have a specific UK catalogue number release. The labels on each are plain white, with each disc within their own plain white papersleeve, one of them has a letter attached from Mary Hooton of WEA Records UK, hand written on record company headed notepad paper, and simply reads 'Dave, here is the new album test pressing - please let me know if it is alright, thanks Mary'. As a bonus, we are also including a copy of the 'Slipping Away' 7" single from the album pressed on Clear Vinyl. A unique and unusual item, must have for any collection)
