Released in Mono only, this was Elvis' first album for RCA, later re-issued in 1964 on RCA Victor. The very first issue was in July 1957, this copy being from January 1958, but to all intents and purposes identical to the release of six months earlier.

Condition:

The sleeve remains in astonishing condition with just a little scuffing at the opening & general shelfwear at a minimum.
The scalloped flipbacks are complete, in fact the sleeve unusually shows no paper loss or writing, with just the smallest amount of age yellowing to the back to show for nearly sixty years in the wild.

The vinyl, although obviously played, shows none of the usual deep ruts and scratches that are so often found, with just a couple of light surface scuffs here and there. There are just the inevitable spindle marks around the centre hole to attest to its history.

All in all a wonderful copy of this rare release & one that is certainly unlikely to disappoint a serious collector.
