SHORTY ROGERS & HIS ORCHESTRA Courts The Count (1954 US 12-track deep groove mono LP recorded as a tribute to the great Count Basie, also featuringMaynard Ferguson, Harry Edison, Jimmy Giuffre, Zoot Sims, Herb Geller, Bud Shank, Curtis Counce,Marty Paich, Shelly Manne & more, wonderful Jim Flora internal pocket gatefold picture sleeve. By some miracle, the front board is still attached to the sleeve pocket with none of the usual extreme rips at the spine. The sleeve shows just a little shelfwear, but less than you would expect after sixty years. The vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a few light surface scuffs to show for all those yeasr in the wild. A nice copy LJM-1004)
