MILES DAVIS Birth Of The Cool (Incredibly rare original 1956 US 11-track mono LP on the turquoise Capitol label, featuring early 1949 to early 1950 recording sessions that marked a turning point in jazz towards a more stylistic sound. Includes the masterful 'Move' and 'Boplicity'. The heavy duty pasted sleeve is clean both sides & in gorgeous near mint condition, obtained from its one fastidious owner who bought the record brand new way back when. The vinyl too is super clean & approaching near mint, with only the very lightest signs of one or two plays in its day. An absolute beaut! T762)
