LIGHTNIN' HOPKINS Lightnin' (1961 US 10-track mono LP on a deep groove blue & silver label, with '203 S. Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ' label address & 'RVG' [Rudy Van Gelder] machine stamped in the run-offs. Captivating real-deal blues straight out of Houston, Texas, where Lightnin' is aided by Leonard Gaskin on bass & Belton Evans, drums. The pasted laminate sleeve is a beautiful example with no splits & the heavyweight vinyl appears in glorious, near mint condition with only mild spindle wear on the labels to suggest play BVLP-1019)
