ALVIN STARDUST My Coo Ca Choo (1973 UK solid centre 7" vinyl single on the red Magnet label, also including Pull Together. This was written, recorded & produced by PETER SHELLEY as the first release on his new Magnet label, housed in the Magnet company die-cut paper sleeve. Much to his surprise, he found himself having to find an 'Alvin Stardust' at short notice to perform on Top Of The Pops when the record became a big UK hit. Step forward Mr Shane Fenton, add one leather outfit and Alvin Stardust was born! MAG1)
