Air Of Mystery

DINGER Air Of Mystery (Super rare 1985 UK original synth-pop 7" single on the independent Face Value Records label, with I Love To Love on the B-side. Recorded at Berwick Street Studios London and Wolf Studios Brixton both songs were written and performed by Pierre Cope and Andrew Bell. Andy Bell subsequently responded to a newspaper advertisement for a singer and following his succesful audition formed the group Erasure with Vince Clarke! This release never achieved any commercialsuccess and was long forgotten until Andy found fame in Erasure, after which a small quantity resurfaced. Not issued with a picture sleeve. The vinyl remains in excellent condition. FVR221)
