MILES DAVIS Miles Davis & The Modern Jazz Giants (1984 Japanese issue of the classic 5-track mono LP from 1957, recorded during an historic meeting on Christmas Eve, 1954 with Thelonious Monk & three-quarters of the Modern Jazz Quartet (Jackson, Heath & Clarke). Also included is a version of 'Round About Midnight from the famous 1956 sessions that produced the albums Cookin' & Relaxin', picture sleeve complete with Japanese insert & obi. The sleeve shows only faint signs of discolouring on the back & the vinyl is near mint VIJ-222)
