DAKOTA STATON Confessin' The Blues (1980 Japanese white title label promo sample 8-track LP, superb Japanese only release from the esteemed jazz vocalist whose popularity in the late 1950s was as high as that of contemporaries Sarah Vaughan and Dinah Washington, produced by Sonny Lester and featuring the sublime talents of Groove Holmes [Organ], Bernard Purdie [Drums] and Cornell Dupree [Guitar] amongst many other fine players, housed in a heavyweight sleeve complete with Japanese/English lyric insert and obi-strip. The sleeve shows only minor ringwear and is otherwise excellent whilst the vinyl is in stunning NEAR MINT condition 16PJ-2008)
