DUKE JORDAN Duke Jordan (1959 US 10-track mono LP featuring a side devoted to Trio recordings with Percy Heath on Bass & Art Blakey on Drums, and a side devoted to Quintet recordings with the addition of Eddie Bert on Trombone & Cecil Payne onBaritone Sax, pasted picture sleeve. Not surprisingly after nearly fifty five years, the sleeve does display a degree of mild shelfwear on the front & some scuffing at the corners, but all text is clearly legible & it is free of the more usual seam splits. The vinyl is astonishing & remains excellent with just a few light surface hairlines and very little sign of play to show for this vintage disc - A classic! MG-12149)
