Background:

This rarity is released on Misfits Records, which was started in 2002 by founding Misfits member Jerry Only, with the intention of releasing Misfits material after their contract with Roadrunner was up. The label also started to release material by other bands, usually linked to The Misfits in some way, or of the Horror Punk genre.

This promotional 7" was made availible for a limited time only to those who retained their proof of purchase from 3 Misfits Records releases, namely Project 1950 by The Misfits, Osaka Popstar and The American Legends Of Punk, and Beyond The Darkness by Balzac. Its unclear how many were actually sent out, or how many were pressed, but regardless, it is an item that rarely surfaces.

The tracks included on the 7" are two instrumental recordings that are not availible anywhere else. They were written and recorded by Jerry Only during sessions for the 1997 album American Psycho, yet then singer Michael Graves had not record the vocals for the tracks, and never did.

These two tracks are in their raw and instrumental form, untouched and preserved for 16 years on this vinyl (or "Wax Museum" as this record is called)

The picture sleeve includes the trademark B-Movie/Horror artwork that we have come to love from The Misfits, and even the runout groove of the vinyl has some smart laser etchings of the Misfits logo, and the iconic Crimson Ghost.

A must have item for any serious Misfits collector, the first one we have ever seen here, and im sure we wont see one for many years to come!
