ART BLAKEY & THE JAZZ MESSENGERS At The Jazz Corner Of The World Vol. 1 & 2 (Rare 1959 US 10-track mono 2-LP set, featuring one of the best ever line-ups of Blakey's Jazz Messengers recorded live at Birdland that year, starring Lee Morgan, Hank Mobley, Bobby Timmons and Jymie Merritt, with both parts housed in their respective front laminated pasted sleeves. Volume 1 is a non-deep groove pressing on a 'West 63rd' address label with 'RVG' stamper. Volume 2 is a first issue deep groovepressing with 'West 63rd' address and both 'RVG' stamper and 'ear' etchings. The covers show only light signs of edge wear and are otherwise in excellent condition. Both vinyl discs are clean and look barely played BLP4015/6)
