PAUL MCCARTNEY Liverpool Oratorio (Original 1991 Japanese NTSC double sided 12" laser disc. Composed by Paul McCartney in collaboration with Carl Davis to commemorate The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra's 150th anniversary. This recordingwas captured at the oratorio's premiere at Liverpool Cathedral with McCartney in attendance and features noted professional classical singers Kiri Te Kanawa, Jerry Hadley, Sally Burgess and Willard White re-enacting the roles in the oratorio,with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra & Choir. Housed in a heavy card gatefold sleeve complete with fold-out lyric insert and original obl-strip TOLW-3622)
