CHARLIE PARKER Charlie Parker On Dial (Amazing early 1970s 98-track SEVEN white label promo sample LP box set featuring six discs of his complete recordings for Dial in the mid forties, with a bonus seventh disc of live recordings capturedduring the period, entitled 'Lullaby In Rhythm'. The box is augmented by a sixteen page illustrated Japanese text booklet detailing the sessions, but all is not lost is you can't read Japanese, because each disc has its own paper picture sleeve with the same extensive notes on the back in English. Disc Six of this set is unusual in that it has stamped plain white labels instead of the more familiar promo sample type, so it is quite possibly a test presssing inserted to complete the review package. As to condition: Each sleeve is Mint. Each album is Mint. The booklet is Mint. The gold titled heavyweight box shows just the lightest shelfwear with a tiny bit of corner scuffing & it still retains the original obi-strip!
