DAVID ACKLES Five & Dime (1973 US only 12-track LP, including original lyric inner, picture sleeve. This was David's third & last record, produced at home on a four-track recorder. Vastly influential beyond his released work, it is hard not to draw comparisons with Nick Drake, in that they both produced just a few excellent albums that were only really appreciated after their death. The inner sleeve has some splits at the seams & the sleeve has the beginnings of a spine split, but the vinyl is wonderful. A nice copy of this great album at an advantageous price! KC32466)
