CEDAR WALTON Animation / Soundscapes (2010 issue UK 14-track 2-on-1 CD album - 1978's 'Animation' features the subtle jazz funk of 'Jacob's Ladder' a memorable track with a really nice feel that really gets you hooked, and includes a great jazz funk version of Stevie's classic 'Another Star', whilst 'Charmed Circle' shows Cedar's deeper jazz roots; whilst 'Soundscapes' from 1980 comprises the fabulous 'Latin America' which is widely recognized as a latin jazz-funk classic. 'Warm To The Touch' is an overlooked serene laid back track featuring the exquisite vocals of Leon Thomas, one of our favourite jazz vocalists and the subject of the first in our Anthology series - This is the first time these albums have been issued on CD)
