ART BLAKEY QUINTET A Night At Birdland Volumes 1 & 2 (1976-77 Japanese promotional 12-track mono 2-LP set, recorded at the 'jazz corner of the world' with the bright young stars of the day; Clifford Brown, Lou Donaldson, Horace Silver and Curly Russell. Includes then-newly discovered bonus tracks 'The Way You Look Tonight' and 'Blues' left off the original 1956 albums. The 'Seal Of Approval' stickered picture sleeves replicate the original Blue Note artwork, complete with Japanese text inserts and obi-strips. The sleeves reveal minimal signs of their age and the vinyl is mint LNJ-70091/2)
