LYNYRD SKYNYRD Live From Freedom Hall (2010 UK 2-disc [CD/DVD] album set - Beyond the tragedy, the history, the raging guitars and the killer songs, ultimately, Lynyrd Skynyrd are about an indomitable will. About survival of spirit; unbowed, uniquely American, stubbornly resolute. Their first set of new studio material since 2003's 'Vicious Cycle', 'God & Guns' was recorded in Nashville in 2008/2009, the project was interrupted - but, tellingly, not ended - by the deaths of founding member / keyboardist Billy Powell and longtime bassist Ean Evans earlier this year. 'Live From Freedom Hall' is a dazzling CD/DVD package featuring a passionate explosive show recorded at Freedom Hall, Louisville, Kentucky in June 2007. The performance was the last to feature both Evans and Powell and includes every Skynyrd classic from 'Gimme Three Steps' to 'Tuesday's Gone', to the ultimate rock sign-off with 'Sweet Home Alabama' & 'Free Bird')
