JAN & DEAN Carnival Of Sound (2010 US Rhino Hand Made limited edition 29-track CD album, the first official release of the long lost and often bootlegged 1960s album. In 1966 Jan Berry suffered debilitating injuries in a car accident, as he battled to recover he spent three years recording songs for a new Jan and Dean album to be titled Carnival of Sound. Despite the quality of the music, the album was never released and became one of rock ’n’ roll’s lost treasures. The CD featuresthe original mono mixes of the album along with new stereo mixes by Andrew Sandoval plus bonus tracks from the 1966-68 sessions.
