JOE HUTTON Joe Hutton Of Coquetdale (1980 UK 13-track LP by the celebrated Northumbrian Small Pipes trainer [a sedated version of the rare beast is seen on the front of the sleeve]. Nearly extinct, the rare Pipes were saved from decline by theformation of the Northumbrian Pipers Society in 1928 & since then have seen a steady recovery to their numbers in the beautiful secluded valleys of Northumberland, although their breeding grounds remain a strictly guarded secret. The sleeve onthis copy shows a little wear & edge scuffing, but the vinyl appears barely played, enabling you to enjoy their many varied calls without being interrupted by nasty pops & clicks MWM1024)
