THE MIRACLES City Of Angels (2010 issue UK 11-track digitally remastered CD album - In 1975, the Miracles, with Billy Griffin replacing Smokey Robinson on lead vocal, exploded back into the Pop mainstream with 'Love Machine' – a No. 1 hit across the board, an icon of dance music. The song was the centerpiece of 'City Of Angels', a concept album that told the story of two souls searching for love and fame in Hollywood. In addition to the smash hit, the album's 'Overture' and 'Night Life' became underground disco classics, while 'Ain't Nobody Straight In L.A.' spurred controversy. This 2010 edition comes expanded with a Bonus Instrumental Version of 'Love Machine'. Complete with a picture booklet containing an essay by soul music expert David Nathan)
