SHIRLEY ALSTON With a Little Help From My Friends (Rare 1975 UK 11-track LP by the former lead singer of The Shirelles that takes an unusual journey through the past, in that Shirley is backed on each of the songs she sings by the original bandswho first performed the song! For example, her rendition of Sincerely sees her backed by Danny And The Juniors. Her other 'backing bands' include The Flamingos, The 5 Satins, The Belmonts, Herman's Hermits, Shep And The Limelites & The Drifters, great front laminated picture sleeve. The sleeve shows only the lightest shelfwear & the vinyl is immaculate - a great copy! SHA8491)
