VENOM Black Metal (2002 Italian pressed UK issue limited edition 12-track vinyl PICTURE DISC LP - originally released in 1982, this was the group's 2nd album, and gave the 'black metal' genre its name, owing to the occult and Satanic leanings of the lyrics; Venom also set the pace for things to come, through the sheer speed of their playing, unlike anything in the heavy metal category that had come before, and a major influence on Metallica & Slayer amongst others, includes bonus recording 'Bloodlust' taken from a Radio 1 Session, presented in stickered PVC sleeve)
