JOHN COLTRANE Coltrane In Japan (1976 Japanese-only 5-track triple live LP box set, recorded at Kosei Nenkin Hall in Tokyo on the 22nd of July 1966 with the Quintet comprising Pharoah Sanders - Tenor & Alto, Alice Coltrane - Piano, Jimmy Garrison - Bass & Rashied Ali - Drums. Comes housed in a unique 12" picture box complete with the 24-page illustrated booklet & obi-strip. The packaging appears Excellent with a natural build up of foxing on the inside, a common occurence with Japanese paper goods over time [tiny half inch tear in top of obi] & the vinyl discs are Near Mint with few signs of play YB-8501~3-AI)
