THE SAINTS Know Your Product (1996 Australian 22-track CD album - they called the phenomenon that saw punk rock germinating in London, New York and Brisvegas in some strange cosmic unison 'concurrent evolution'. But in fact, Brisbane's Saints didit first, predating the emergence of punk in Europe by over a year. This album documents the career, from the blistering horn-driven affront of the title track, to the ballsy reworking of R&B classics like 'River Deep, Mountain High', and 'Messing With The Kid'. Of course, '[I'm] Stranded' says it all: raw, desperate and drop dead cool!)
