STAN TRACEY QUARTET Under Milk Wood (70s UK issue of the classic 1965 8-track stereo LP issued on Stan's own Steam label, first released on EMI Columbia in the Lansdowne Series. This is the original sixties instrumental version [no narration] of Stan's Jazz Suite inspired by Dylan Thomas's radio play, featuring the atmospheric & beautifully restraint 'Starless & Bible Black', one of the most evocative recordings committed to tape. The front laminated sleeve & vinyl appear Near Mint. Recommended SJ101)
