JOHN COLTRANE Giant Steps (2009 US exclusive Strictly Limited Edition 7-track 45RPM double LP pressed on Premium HQ-180 180gram Virgin Vinyl at RTI, remastered by Bernie Grundman from the original analogue master tapes - Originally released in 1959, this was Coltrane's second studio release for Atlantic Records but the first to feature solely Coltrane compositions, exemplifying his melodic phrasing that came to be known as 'sheets of sound'. Back in stock for the first time in over TWELVE YEARS, the two vinyl discs remain UNPLAYED within the individually numbered gatefold picture sleeve which comes housed inside the 12.5" x 12.5" x 0.5" sealed & hype-stickered picture slipcase [designed to look like a 1/4" tape box]!)
