The U2 Talkie

U2 The U2 Talkie (2009 UK official promotional-only 12-track music & interview CD-R, first issued on vinyl and cassette in 1987 to coincide with the release of The Joshua Tree album. Dave Fanning hosted 'The Pop', a nightly rock radio show on RTE's Radio Two, Ireland's national radio station. One of his early favourites was a young band from Dublin, called U2. The 'U2 Talkie' is the result of conversations Dave had with the band at the end of February, 1987. This classic interview wasonce again issued, on CD, to generate media interest in advance of their No Line On The Horizon album. Custom printed disc with wraparound title inlay in clear PVC wallet. Also includes an 8-page transcript of the interview)
