CHARLES MINGUS Charles Mingus And Friends In Concert (Rare original 1973 Japanese 10-track double vinyl LP, recorded live in early 1972 with a large band including Gerry Mulligan, Lee Konitz, Dizzy Gillespie, Joe Chambers and more. Conducted by Teo Macero, the evening was hosted by comedian Bill Cosby and features entertaining jams and fleshed-out renditions of ESP, Ecclusiastics and Ool-Ya-Koo. Housed in its gatefold pasted picture sleeve with rare thick card top obi-strip, still SEALED in its original shrinkwrap and therefore MINT and unplayed! SOPJ-41~42)
