THE USERS Secondary Modern (2008 UK 9-track CD album - at last, a long-overdue round-up of the best work from this legendary Cambridge-based punk group, who burned briefly in the Summer Of Hate, leaving behind just 2 singles, but what a legacy! The searing 'Sick Of You' [the 1st release on the equally legendary Raw Records] from May '77 is dynamite Stooges/Dolls influenced rawk 'n' roll, and its 1978 follow-up 'Kicks In Style' [released on the group's own Warped label] is just as good [engineered by Dave Goodman]; included on this set are 4 previously unreleased recordings from May 1979, plus a rare live recording of 'Bad Decision' from September 1978 with Robyn Hitchcock on bass!)
