SANDIE SHAW Reviewing The Situation (Rare original 1969 UK Pye label STEREO vinyl LP - Sandie 'reviews' the '60s with ten incredible interpretations of songs from writers and artists as diverse as Lionel Bart, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin [the first ever recorded cover], the Beatles and Dr. John. Housed in the gatefold picture sleeve for the mono edition overstickered on the front with 'stereo' notation. From the vast personal archive of a former music reviewer and journalist, this beautiful copy has been carefully stored away for more than 30 years. The notoriously fragile sleeve remains in superb shape - there are very slight splits at the top and bottom of the spine, but otherwise just a little faint shelfwear; the flipbacks on the internal pocket are secure. The vinyl looks unplayed, retaining a glorious 'just pressed' lustre - an incredible copy of this much sought after classic! NSPL18323)
