BLUE ORCHIDS A Darker Bloom: The Collection (2008 issue UK 19-track CD album - The Blue Orchids were formed by two members of The Fall and went on to produce more mainstream and melodic pop songs than that made by their previous employers. 'Darker Bloom' comprises 19 original tracks dating from 1980 to their demise in 1991; including the singles 'Disney Boys', 'The Flood', 'Work', 'Agents Of Change', 'Sleepy Town' & 'Diamond Age' all of which enjoyed a high profile in the Indie Charts. Complete with a picture booklet containing sleevenotes written by band members Una Baines & Martin Bramah and ex Fall member & Radio 1 DJ Marc Riley, and a complete discography of the band incorporating some of the band's original sleeves which are now rare items)
