BLUE AEROPLANES Altitude 2006 UK 11-track advance Harvest label CD-R acetate album, issued exclusively to radio stations and reviewers. The 1st full-length album since 1995's 'Rough Music', and sees a re-grouped Aeroplanes led by 'poet' Gerard Langley and joined by longterm 'planers, John Langley [Gerard's brother], guitarist Rodney Allen and Angelo Bruschini who, a key member of the Massive Attack collective since he played guitar on the 'Mezzanine' album, interrupted work on their )new recordings to write and play on 3 tracks on 'Altitude'.
