SEX PISTOLS Anarchy In the U.K. (Extremely rare 1976 German 7" vinyl single also featuring I Wanna Be Me in unique picture sleeve. The vinyl is in glorious MINT condition with the labels crediting Chris Thomas on both sides. The thin papersleeve is also in wonderful condition, free from any rips or tears, with only light creasing or signs of ringwear - Fantastic!)

Unlike the bare UK issue, Germany chose to release 'Anarchy' in a unique black & white picture sleeve with 'Sex Pistols' in pink outline text. As with most European picture sleeves this is manufactured from thin paper stock and they seldom appear in Mint condition - usually falling into the 'wrecked but rare' category, full of creases, seam splits and the previous owner's name written on the cover!

Thankfully, this copy has been well cared for. The vinyl is superb & looks unplayed.

The all-important sleeve is in overall Excellent condition. There are NO seam splits, the edges are intact and the corners strong. The black & white image is in great shape. The paper stock used was matte and shows creases & marks very easily - on close inspection some light creases are evident, but it would be impossible for one not to display these after 30 years.

The white background shows minimal ringwear from the record impression whilst inside the sleeve. There is one small area of light discolouration about halfway up the right edge & an unobtrusive German rubber stamped promo mark 'Unverkäufliche Musterplatte'. These are the only real imperfections on what is an otherwise superb example of this extreme rarity !
