Despite being over 30 years old this promotional poster remains UNUSED. It has been folded and carefully stored since it was originally printed.

It is free from creases, rips, tears, fading or defects of any kind, which is amazing when you take into consideration the fragility of paper of this age. The corners remain sharp with no pin-holes. This great Apple artefact has been triple folded vertically from new and this has preserved the image beautifully, leaving only light marks along the crease points.

An additional note - This item has 'Mary Hopkin Telephone Apple 39' written in ballpoint pen on the back, a reminder to her to ring that extension in the Apple building ... meaning that this may well have been read or handled by Mary herself!
The writing itself would be invisible once mounted, but it is nonetheless a superb piece of provenence.

The image is black on white and shows a large picture of a pensive Mary sitting under a sea wall looking at the sea. Above the image, the text "Water, Paper & Clay / Jefferson", "Mary Hopkin's New Single" & "Apple 39" is printed in black along with an Apple logo & "Ring 01-247 4052 and listen to MARY HOPKIN From her new album "Earth Song / Ocean Song" - SAPCOR 21" text at the bottom.
