Although undated this acetate would have been cut in 1983 prior to the commercial release of Relax, and way before the now legendary hype took over! 1. Relax - Instrumental 3:45s

This instrumental version at 3:45s forms the basis of the version found on the B side of the UK 12" single. However, the intro is shorter by about 5 seconds and is purely instrumental, whereas the version on the 12" single had a harmonised vocal overdub on the intro, extending it by about 5 seconds and giving an overall running time just over 3:50s.

Whilst only a small difference it does make this acetate version unique, as it would have been cut direct from the master tape prior to any further overdub trickery by Trevor Horn for the final commercially released version.
