BRIAN ENO Apollo (1987 UK 12-track vinyl LP on the black EG label - An invitation to score Al Reinert's film of the Apollo Mission's lunar landing provided Eno with the opportunity to explore the feelings of space travel. This album 'one small step' for Eno, here working both within and beyond the conceptual confines of his Ambient series. The disc's dozen gorgeous, evocative miniatures see Eno's first collaborative work with producer / guitarist Daniel Lanois, including the classic 'An Ending [Ascent]. The barcoded glossy picture sleeve retains a vintage store sticker and shows just light signs of shelfwear while the vinyl remains in barely played condition EGLP53)
