EDGAR BROUGHTON BAND Wasa Wasa (Circa 1969 UK 8-track stereo LP with 'Gramophone Co' perimeter text, no EMI logo & without 'Sold In UK' text, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve. Wasa Wasa gave a wonderfully nutty look on life & death witha Warwick via Notting Hill slant of irony edging through the often searing but subtle social comment. Not only was this the Broughton's first album, their first single release [Evil / Death Of An Electric Citizen] also became the first singlerelease ever on Harvest SHVL757)

Sleeve

The gatefold sleeve shows just a little edge scuffing but is otherwise in superb condition, with a perfectly legible spine and few signs of wear apart from a little laminate creasing in places. Inside the gatefold shows few of the usual ravages of time that are often foisted onto Broughton band albums. There is just a little minor age yellowing at the edges with a couple of small spots of discolouration & that's it. Far above average.

Vinyl

The labels show just a few light spindle marks around the centre hole & the vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a couple of light paper scuffs & hairlines to show for its forty five years.

A nice copy of this essential album.
