SYD BARRETT The Madcap Laughs (Rare 70s first-&-only Brazilian issue of the 1970 13-track LP, on the yellow & green Harvest label with 'Industria Brasilera' perimeter print with the EMI logo & unique catalogue number. Syd's debut solo album finally appeared two years after leaving Pink Floyd, with Dave Gilmour & Roger Waters producing. It's a brilliant but brittle album, with every strum of the electric guitar seeming to take its toll on Barrett's increasingly frayed nerve strings. The gatefold picture sleeve has unique 'Estereo' & 'Disco E Cultura' print on the back & remains in Excellent condition despite some ring wear on the back, the panels are clean with no writing. The vinyl too is clean & in Excellent condition with few signs of play. The first time we've stocked the Brazilian pressing of Syd's psych masterpiece! XHVL-1041)
