THE KINKS Kinks/ Kinda Kinks/ The Kink Kontroversy/ Something Else By The Kinks (Serviceable set of 1964-67 UK first press mono vinyl LPs on deep pink & black Pye labels, comprising the sought after debut album 'Kinks' [NPL 18096] along with 'Kinda Kinks' [NPL 18112], 'The Kink Kontroversy' [NPL 18131] & 'Something Else By The Kinks' [NPL 18193]. Each part is complete with its original laminated or non-laminated ['Something Else'] flipback picture sleeve. This set is graded Good overall. The covers have some mild water damage to their right hand corners but nothing too discouraging, resulting in a little bowing to those areas including some discolouring to the back corners - these are over half a century old now & will flesh out any 60s collection nicely. The covers have no writing & there is the usual age related wear & some chips to the paper around the edges, with all text legible. All vinyl discs are in serviceable Good condition. Each disc has been professionally cleaned on a Matrix machine & carefully inspected. Visually, there are spindle marks & paper scuffs, hairlines & the occasional faint scratch, none of which have any signifcant impact on play, although the usual light background surface is detectable in the quieter sections with the odd light click on occasion. By no means mint, this is a convenient way to start a Kinks collection at an agreeable price)
