Exile On Main St - Withdrawn Obi

ROLLING STONES Exile On Main Street (Rare 1972 Japanese 18-track double LP, gatefold picture sleeve complete with card picture inners, fold-out biography/lyric insert, twelve tear-off postcards and withdrawn 'tongue' logo obi-strip & second thin green 'Coming To Japan' obi. This tour was canceled, the Japanese Foreign Ministry told the band they could not perform and would allow Mick Jagger entry into their country due to his prior drugs convictions.
The sleeve has minimal wear, the inners and obi has just a little foxing and, aside from a few very light surface scuff marks, the vinyl shows little just a few light signs of play with just a few spindle marks on the labels. A really nice example of this over forty year old pressing, the first copy we have seen with these withdrawn obi-strips P-5051~2S)
