PINK FLOYD Crystal Voyager (Rare original 1973 UK double sided cinema handbill/flyer measuring approximately 5¼" x 8½" in size. Produced to help promote the Australian surf film directed by David Elfick, which was filmed, written & narrated by surfer, photographer & filmmaker George Greenough. The film gained substantial press on its release, due to a strong reception at the Cannes Film Festival, and had a record-breaking six month run in London's West End, where it played a double bill with René Laloux's animated science-fiction film Fantastic Planet, which is promoted on the other side)

The closing sequence, a short film titled Echoes, is generally considered to be the highlight. Filmed with a camera in a waterproof housing strapped to Greenough's back, the sequence is composed entirely of slow-motion footage shot inside the curl of waves, edited to the Pink Floyd's 23-minute long song Echoes. The group reportedly allowed Elfick & Greenough to use the music in their film in exchange for the use of the footage as a visual background when they performed the track in concert.

More details
You would have thought that something produced to promote an almost unknown film would have been produced cheaply; however one side is printed in pink & black with the other in green & black.

Condition
This has been looked after really well by the past owner, it has been folded but this is the only real signs of wear, as there are no rips or tears to the edges with little signs of age.

An amazing item that should grace any Floyd collection.
