MIKE WESTBROOK Metropolis + Citadel / Room 315 (Scarce 1979 UK 20-track double LP repackaging of the two albums. Metropolis is a nine movement brass frenzy for big band, including Part IX recently featured on the Impressed compilation. Citadel was first commissioned by Swedish radio and along with Metropolis makes for one of the more acclaimed efforts in British progressive jazz. Alan Skidmore, John Taylor, John Surman & Norma Winstone all star. The gatefold sleeve is excellent and the vinyl mint PL25229)
