They booked the large and prestigious Abbey Road Studio for the special evening in 2000, and by the day of the show there was a huge list of people wanting to take part: John Entwistle, Zak Starkey, Chris Barber, Bernie Marsden and Mickey Moody [Whitesnake], Eddie Hardin, Ian Paice and of coursethe initiators Jon Lord & Pete York to name just a few. The show kicks off with Johnnie Johnson & Dave Williams, before Pete York takes over for a short set, enlivened by Zoot Money's unexpected appearance. John Entwistle follows with half a dozen rock & roll standards, backed up by Zak Starkey and John 'Rabbit' Bundrick.
