HERON Heron (Debut 1970 UK 13-track LP on the Dawn label, a
stunning piece of British pastoral Folk / Psych which saw the band set
up mics in a field in Manor Farm, Appleford, Berkshire a few miles
from Traffic's own rural retreat in Aston Tirrold, for a truly authentic
sound, fully textured gatefold picture sleeve with illustrated credits
insert. The sleeve is a gorgeous off white with just a spot of ever so
light age wear in places, barely noticeable [name written on inside
lip]. The heavyweight vinyl is a clean VG+/EX-; there is a fair amount
of spindle marks by the centre holes to suggest play, with some mild
paper scuffs & faint hairlines in addition, which have very little to no
effect on sound during playback. A seldom heard masterpiece of its
kind & recommended DNLS3010)
