This 3-disc set relives this halcyon convergence of history, sound and sphinx, featuring over 3 hours of music remastered in HDCD to sound more cosmic than ever [all except 3 songs are previously unreleased]; along with a 100-minute DVD featuring never-before-seen concert and home movie footage includes the featurette 'The Vacation Tapes', with previously unseen candid footage of the band and their noted friends exploring Egypt. The three discs are UNPLAYED in the SEALED deluxe pyramid-inspired digipak packaging with 'pop-up' style Pyramids and Sphinx inside plus many rare photos and features liner notes by long-time Dead associate Alan Trist, who was pivotal in making the trek to Egypt happen!) more...
