Japanese issue 12-track mono vinyl LP of alltime classic Monk songs,
his first album as a bandleader from 1947, including the downright
essential Round About Midnight, Off Minor, RubyMy Dear,
Epistrophy and Well You Needn't original recordings plus the previous
unissued Introspection, includes 6 tracks no previously issued on LP.
Great hard cover back pasted picture sleeve with Japanese text inner,
a Blue Note catalogue insert and wide 'Blue Note 1800' obi-strip. The
sleeve has a few light unobtrusive spots of foxing to the reverse but is
otherwise absolutely immaculate and the vinyl within looks unplayed
