THE SOUL BROTHERS Hot Shot Ska (1967 UK first press 12-track MONO LP on a light blue label, the first title in the much sought after series of LPs released in Britain on the fabled Coxsone Records imprint. Essential Ska-into-Rocksteady business, led by the great Jackie Mittoo & other ex-Skatalites members, produced by the mighty Clement 'Coxsone' Dodd - these guys comprised the house band at Studio One & were the hottest around! The front laminated title sleeve is Excellent & remains a nice off white with no writing & just a tiny thumbnail fracture in the bottom edge. The vinyl is clean & grades VG+ with some spindle marks by the centre hole & the occasional few hairlines not affecting play.
