LITTLE RICHARD Here's Little Richard (2009 UK issue 12-track LP pressed on 180gram VINYL. Although, 'epic' is a term much bandied about by music journalists, there are few moments in rock & roll history that truly deserve that label. That said, this LP, Little Richard's debut, is one of them. While it's true that in many ways Little Richard was continuing in the style of predecessors like Fats Domino, it can also be said that 'the Georgia Peach' was the original punk rockerof R&B. He cranked up the volume, caked on the eyeliner, upped the tempo, and pounded the ivories while wailing, 'tutti frutti, loose booty!' [although it had to be changed to 'aw rooty' for the official recording!], glossy picture sleeve. The sleeve shows minimal wear and the vinyl has just a few light paper scuffs with no impact on sound quality DOY607)

Originally released in 1957, this is the self-assured debut from the iconic rock n'roll artist, housed in a stunning & vibrant front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeve displays the odd storage mark & creasing around the edges but remains a nice serviceable example. The vinyl is clean but does have obvious spindle wear & light paper scuffs to indicate play, it nevertheless plays through superbly.
