BAIKIDA E.J. CARROLL Orange Fish Tears (Monster Rare 1974
French-only 4-track LP, recorded in Paris at Studio Palm by Jef Gilson
for his own label, featuring Baikida on all manner of brass &
percussive instruments including the seal horn & log drum. Also along
for the ride are Nana Vasconcelos, Manuel Villardel & Oliver Lake on a
similarly large array of instruments including saxophones, bamboo
flute, bells & tablas, for this enlightened spiritual/free-jazz odyssey.
The picture sleeve is front laminated & in Excellent condition with just
a faint spot of age wear to a back corner. The vinyl is Excellent to
Near Mint with a deep sheen both sides & only the lightest evidence of
play. A real rarity, with no reissue of any kind on the cards any time
